It just acknowledges Obama as the current president, doesn't acknowledge the pandemic or resulting economic chaos

and also includes a blanket affirmation that the GOP "reassert[s] the Party’s strong support for President Donald Trump and his Administration."

and Sal and the rest of the Trumpologists think it is a hella cool way of doing things despite 160 years of having a party platform
