ended up on 2nd base. Whether it was a double or 2 throwing errors that got him there remains to be seen.

The format was difficult and the absence of a live audience pulled any energy away that he would have gotten from a cheering crowd. The speech was well put together and delivered as well as anyone else could have given it under the circumstances.

That said, the speech offered no solutions and many of the problems Joe is promising to fix existed under his and Obama's Administration and went unfixed.
