wonder if all the fawning over beau made him feel inadequate, like raskputin, so to prove he was beau’s equal, he became corrupt.

Beau was the favorite, hunter chose drugs and corruption to compete for his father’s love and respect.

How’s that...and I’m not even a trained clinical psychiatrist.
