major political players don't want to be tied to a candidate who is likely to lose on an historic scale.
Would wild bill or fat hillary, or queen largebottom or the black marxist have their reputations and their legacies sullied by being all in for a major loser?
Wouldn't a biden catastrophe reflect negatively on the legacy of the black marxist? Would it represent a rejection of obama policies?
It's the same as for semi-trumpers. Wimpy Rs are trying to have it both ways in endorsing the president. If he loses, Rs who are seen as having supported him will have their endorsements thrown in their faces.
So semi-trumpers try to say just enough to be part of the team if he wins, but not so much that they will be part of the losing team.
