He can point to her and say she is/was tough on crime when she was a prosecutor/CA AG. This is the Dem's attempt to counter Trump's assertion that they (the Dems) are soft on crime and criminals, especially in light of all the riots and crime in Dem-controlled cities.

If Trump wasn't so hated by the Left, he'd win in a landslide. But lately, he's been doing some really stupid stuff that could easily alienate independent voters, who he direly needs.
