of view it was fine. Great week to week matchups, good rivalries etc. Staying there after losing CU, NU and A & M would have meant yearly games with TCU and West Virginia. I enjoyed the Big 12 as a conference when it was "whole." I don't disagree about the other stuff and that we would have eventually left. Right now it's a shadow of what it once was though it is a vehicle for OU to get to the playoff every year.
