I can still get Ammonium Nitrate, but it has to be immediately applied. Few fertilizer plants are capable of meeting regulatory requirements to store it. Other AN explosions in the U.S. I recall were the Texas City, Texas fertilizer plant and the Sur-gro fertilizer plant in Falls City, Nebraska.
