They were giving the largest supporter of terrorism in the world billions of dollars, while Iran was still working towards nukes.

Since Drumpf rescinded it and put the crippling sanctions back in place they can't pay their military, their people are starving, they are in no way going to be able to get a nuke, and we turned their most effective military general into a grease spot.
