Chicago, JFK and LAX due to COVID issues until mid July, from the start of their issues in April. Backlogs still exist to this day.
They couldn't tell you what volume they had in possession, when it would be processed or how they would get it to destination countries. And that had nothing to do with privatization. It has everything to do with mandatory quarantines, zero airlift due to international flight shut down, and lack of rolling stock.
The same issues existed in domestic operations, along with the general and traditional indifference to service standards at the USPS.
And just so you know, I've got 40 plus years in logistics and know what was, and is, happening.
