More On Lebron James

I was asked by that idiot zumani to provide quotes from Lebron James. I have no idea how to do the research to provide them but I did find these in today's (July 1) LA Times print edition.

Commenting after the big rivalry game between his Lakers and the Clippers, two fierce rivals playing their first game back against each other after the NBA shutdown.

"We're two teams in the same city, two team's that's fighting for one common goal, to win a championship and bring it to the city of Los Angeles and their respective fan bases. So many competitors on the floor, going out there representing purple and gold, representing Laker Nation, those guys doing the same for their fan base. No matter what the cause is, no matter what the bubble is, no fans, or fans, basketball is basketball, competitive spirit is competitive spirit. We got right back to where we left off."

Commenting on the fact that both teams took a knee and locked arms during the national anthem.

"I hope we made Kaep proud. Kaep was someone who stood up when times weren't comfortable...it had absolutely nothing to do about the flag...people never listened...I did...we just thank him for sacrificing everything that he did."

On making the game winning shot in the last minute.


"I want the ball in my hands late in the game, tie game, being up, being down. Be aggressive."

More comments after the game.

"It's 2020..it's something that we've never seen before...we are in the land of the unknown. Things are happening for the first time...you just take it for what it is...we're still living, I'm alive... that's a blessing."
