We have no totally effective way of preventing persons attending a large event from contracting the virus. Masks, social distancing, etc. are only partially effective. See the case of Herman Cain and Trump's Tulsa rally.
If Mizzou allows folks in the stands some will contract the virus and some will likely die. The AD may well be labelled as someone who put more emphasis on a few dollars than he put on protecting human life. The Tiger AD may well be hit with the same label.
A football season with five home games with 20,000 or so fans at each is simply not worth the long term damage to the individual or the Tiger Athletic Department.
I.e. ten years down the road, you tell someone you're a Mizzou Tiger fan and they respond "oh yea, you're the guys who put money ahead of people's health".
