Attempt to Identify:
On July 23rd, 2020 around 11:50 pm the Overland Park Police Department responded to the 12200 block of Beverly reference an Aggravated Assault. A homeowner observed someone enter into is his vehicle. As the homeowner confronted the burglar’s, one of the burglars fired three shots at the homeowner. The 2-3 suspects on foot ran and entered into a grey and burgundy Honda (1994-1997). The two vehicles then went to a nearby convenience store and two females exited to purchase items. The stolen burgundy Honda was later recovered in Kansas City, Kansas on July 24th. (Photos attached)
On July 29, 2020 around 12:05 am a home owner in the 12700 block of Eby heard noises in his garage. The homeowner found a male standing in his garage next to his vehicle. The suspect then quickly exited the garage and the homeowner chased the suspect on foot. The suspect entered into the passenger side of a white Chevrolet pickup truck at the end of block driven by a white female. According to the homeowner, the suspect was a white male with dark hair. As the vehicle fled the scene eastbound on W.128th Street, someone inside the vehicle fired one shot at the homeowner. The license tag on the suspect vehicle is reported stolen out of Kansas City, Missouri. Officers on scene discovered additional auto burglaries in the area. (No Photos available)
