From day 1 Trump was on a trajectory to lose the next election. Suburban women particularly can’t stand him. He was unpopular to begin with and hasn’t expanded his base, but lost some instead.
He won the election by 70,000 plus votes spread over 3 states. The win was akin to getting killed by a falling meteor.
I don’t think his campaign is really contesting Michigan very hard, and his chance to win Pennsylvania is very slim. Lose those two states and it’s going to take another meteor strike or one helluva voter suppression effort.
He really only has himself to blame if he loses. He’ll have a dozen conspiracy theories to explain it though.
