account of God creating order, setting up a sacred space where humans are invited guests.
It is a temple account, with the 7th day being the inauguration of the temple.
Genesis 1-11 repeats the cycle of order/disorder. Mankind introducing disorder, God taking steps to restore order all setting up the covenant with Abraham in chapters 12-50.
Problem is too many Christians do not have the slightest clue what it is about and generate all kinds of garbage ideas and proposals to support their faulty understanding and its apparent conflict with scientific discoveries.
