A Note To Mizzou’s Season Ticket Holders
Mizzou Athletics is anticipating the Sept. 5 start of the Eliah Drinkwitz’ era when the Tigers kick off their 130th campaign against Central Arkansas on historic Faurot Field. We want you to know that while we are working toward a football season, our number one priority has remained the health and safety of our student-athletes, staff and fans. To help us ensure the best and safest gameday experience, we would greatly appreciate you sharing your current feelings about attending the 2020 Mizzou Football season. Please help us by responding to this survey by Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m.
Mizzou Athletics will be guided in its decision-making by health professionals, governmental leaders, University officials and the SEC, while keeping health, safety and well-being at the forefront throughout the process. We anticipate seating at Faurot Field will be at a reduced capacity during the 2020 season with a final decision expected shortly. As of today, we are working through several plans as to how that may look, but believe it is important to update you on the effects this might have:
-With a reduced capacity stadium we will allocate tickets for the 2020 season based on your TSF donor rank. *Ticket limits may be placed on donor level*
-If/when a reseating process is initiated, we will communicate that process in detail. Any change in seating for the 2020 season will revert back to your original seating location/quantity from 2019.
-If you opt out of season tickets for the 2020 season, you will not lose your current seating location for 2021 or your consecutive season ticket priority points.
While we don’t have all of the answers today, I can tell you that we remain dedicated to our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans.
However, we also believe it is prudent to share our ticketing refund plan should the season be impacted. Furthermore, please know that Mizzou season ticket holders will have the following refund opportunities available to them should that happen:
-Contributing all or a portion of the refund (tax deductible) to the Tiger Scholarship Fund in support of Mizzou Athletics.
-Applying the refund as a credit toward 2021 football season tickets.
-Refunding the full amount to the method of payment originally used.
Season ticket holders who wish to receive a full refund vs. a 2021 credit can choose to do so by contacting the Mizzou Ticket Office over the phone or via email. Those who opt to receive a refund will still be issued a 2021 renewal for their same season ticket locations and will maintain their tenure.
Please know that we are committed to treating you fairly as we navigate these uncertain times. We are grateful for our season ticket holders and Tiger Scholarship Fund donors who provide life-changing opportunities for our 550 student-athletes, and all of us hope that you remain healthy and safe in the coming days and weeks ahead.
Thank you again for your understanding during these unprecedented times, and please contact a member of our staff should you have questions about your 2020 football season tickets. We look forward to seeing you at Memorial Stadium this fall to cheer on our Tigers together!
Please help Mizzou Athletics by responding to this survey by Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m. and a Mizzou Athletics employee may reach out to discuss your responses in further detail.
