by 3 million votes in 2016. The press also likes to state how Hilary "swamped" Trump in the popular vote.
The simple fact of the matter is that Hilary won California, where she had 8,753,788 votes to Trump's 4,483,810. This is a state where Trump didn't spend a day because he was smart. There was no sense wasting time in that cesspool.
That is the sole reason for her margin of victory in the popular vote. Take that out of the equation (and I know you cannot; their votes count as well), and Trump won the national vote in the 49 other states.
The same thing is going to happen in 2020. There are a number of polls that show most people do not wish to express their conservative views i.e., the silent majority. Speaking of California, if you think the majority of Americans are happy with the protests and anarchy going on in these democrat controlled conclaves like Portland, I have some land west of Malibu I would like to sell you. In addition, about 75 percent of the people polled are usually Democrats. Both of these skewer the polls.
Trump is going to win these key states just like he did in 2016 (Thank you Founding Fathers), while Biden will win California by 4-5 million votes and thus win the popular election.
The Republicans are eventually going to hammer on three things: (i) Biden is the ultimate swamp rat; I would have an ad running twice every half hour point out what he did in Ukraine with his son and his various other abuses of power that are too numerous to mention here; (ii) all of these cities and areas where crime and policing tactics are an issue have been run by Democrats for 40 years and what has been done to fix it? (iii) the economy under Obama and Biden was absolutely abysmal; prior to Covid growth was 3-4 times what it was in the Obama years and unemployment was at 40-50 year lows.
Just for shyte and giggles, they can also point out Biden is currently not mentally capable of going to the bathroom by himself let alone running the country (cannot wait for the debates, though Donna Brazil (spelling) will probably give Biden's camp all the questions in advance). Also, drag out all the clips of him sniffing hair and complaints of him sexually harassing women.
This guy may be one of the worst people to ever head a national ticket. Covid is the only thing keeping this from being a landslide for the GOP.
