Two months ago with in-laws at Memorial Day they said “Trump is to blame, he should have listened to the cdc and his experts.”
Today, they highlighted CASES! I said “well according to the cdc as of 7/11/2020 we are at 1.38 million deaths for all causes, including Covid. The last 3 years the average amount of deaths for all causes in a year is over 2.8 million so we aren’t even to excess deaths yet. Also mortality rate is decreasing drastically over the pandemic even with the rise in cases.”
The reply, by an engineer and his wife, head of accounting for a major business was “well, I don’t trust the cdc.”
This is so politicized it’s unbelievable.
