Covid is 147k and flu anywhere from 35-65k. This is US. Numbers may vary for each up and down but it is safe to say that since January COVID has caused more deaths in the US than 12 months of flu. Stop acting like this is just the flu. It is not, there is no vaccine, no history, contagious time frame is different, there is less science behind transmission. I have worked in hospitals for 30 years and we have flu season every year. I have never seen employees hospitalized in our ICU for two weeks with the flu.
