as to reasons why this not very lethal virus keeps grabbing headlines and holding people in hysterical fear:

1. Govt-dependent culture (biggest reason, imo)
2. Credentialism
3. People being controlled by messages
4. Some people being paid to not work (vocal supporters of sitting at home and watching netflix)
5. Economic ignorance (thinking the economy can just be turned on and off like a light switch)
6. Orange man bad

Please explain why this message is being reported.
