voter turnout is around 55%. The winner generally gets around 50% of the vote give or take a bit.
So, in reality, about 25% of the people actually vote for the President, while 75% vote for someone else or no one at all.
When it comes to even selecting the person who can even get on the ballot, those numbers drop a TON.
To think you truly have an influence on who is President is a farce, and then you fall for the binary choice option on top of that.
Then, once they get there, they have so much control over us and our finances, it is ridiculous, and you give them a pass for all of the evils they do....by stating the other person would have been worse, or I am happy he agrees with me on certain issues, so I can live with the rest.
