It's hard to imagine a more oppressive environment than Navy boot camp.
Yes, the military doctors have no doubt covered up the real damage done to your son (and I'm very sorry to hear that this has happened) definitely need to name a condition and a medication.
Otherwise it's just the straight up evil in that experience which has created this situation - and no one was willing to take responsibility for that evil were they? Or even admit what happened? Yep.
The fact that your son ended up in this condition proves he is more alive than most, probably has some sort of artistic ability (which has been suppressed) and 'can't relate' to the run-of-the-mill deadness that most people tolerate as 'normal'.
So you believed the doctors. Maybe your son believed the doctors. If it keeps his or your day-to-day life manageable so be it.
But the real cause has not been identified. No 'cure' has happened. And the spiritual pain and damage that creates this 'condition' remains as long as the designation, the medication and the beliefs about the whole situation remain.
Realize that if a real doctor with a real cure were present, you wouldn't be talking about it today. Once something is REALLY HANDLED it's over and people move on.
Where our medical technology fails to understand causes it medicates to suppress symptoms.
In matters of 'mental illness' the damage is extreme as the person can literally be oppressed for who they are as a soul for their entire lifetime.
Some find a way out, and some don't.
But 'doctors' in this instance are no better than witch doctors and represent a true danger to all who fall into their trap...
