5 rivals with 4 rotating. You play every team at home and away in a 4 year span, 9 conference games, still allows 2 P5 noncon, and no divisions, top 2 to Atlanta with whatever tie breaker metric you want to use (head to head, record vs common opponents etc.)

The one downside is the odd number of games, so every other year you get 5 home conference games, and 4 the others. But a good AD would schedule home noncon games to balance that out.

In this example Mizzou would play Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt every year. Odd years play Alabama, Florida, Mississippi St, and Tennessee. Even years play Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and South Carolina.

LSU permanent rivals are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi St, and Texas A&M.
