Most thought the election would be close - once Conway righted the campaign ship. Had Manafort stayed in charge, it was a disaster. Following the party conventions, it looked like Clinton was in pretty good shape - NOTHING like the pretty good shape Biden is in right now. Solid double digit leads, no incumbent but HST survived that.
