Just read this article from the scientific journal called Vox this morning:

https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/21299527/masks-coronavirus-covid-19-studies-research-evidence

Here's the bullet-point breakdown of this article that wants you to believe the science is completely behind community masking:

*Admission that the science for community masking before COVID was "weak". In fact, the science indicated against community masking.

*Admission that no randomized controlled studies have occurred from the "weak" starting point to indicate otherwise (NOTE: Dr. Fauci recently stated that it would be reckless to perform such a study because it would require a control group of non-mask wearers. NOTE2: the randomized controlled studies that pre-date COVID and relate to respiratory viruses point against community masking).

*Citations to a few non-randomized studies that concluded that community masks could help stop the spread of the coronavirus. Not anything definitive.

*Citations to reports that set out post ergo propter hoc fallacies, where masks orders are made and then cases go down. This would be like a govt mandating masks in mid-April each year and then claiming the masks were the reason for the drop in seasonal flu cases.

That's it. That's why the "science" has clearly swung against decades of studies indicating against community masking. But no one digs into these things and just willingly accept that progressive public health dictators are looking out for your own good.
