website. Looking at their disposition list of equipment handed out to police departments. I had no idea how dangerous it was to live in Bernie MO, a town of 1800 or so. So dangerous that their department has obtained:
11 firing devices-non-lethal
2 Utility Vehicles
2 All Terrain Vehicles
1 Pickup
2 Watercraft boats
7 Sights
5 Sheilds
6 Rifles
4 Pistols
1 Cargo Truck
And a bunch of other fun stuff like barbed wire, generators, slings, an air compressor, etc. All at about $200,000. Pretty good deal by my rough math. For a town that had 2 burglaries, 18 thefts and 1 vehicle theft in 2018, they can rest easy at night knowing that if they ever had any real crime that their police department is loaded with military gear.
