The black community was strong, proud and getting stronger in 1960.
Then their leadership decided they were victims and needed what 'whites had'.
Whites didn't have shyte of course - and so the black community went down the drain in permanent victim status.
If they had stayed the course they might well be leading the country right now, given that white middle class retardation has been expanding vastly every decade since 1970.
