both with "name recognition" in the community. Her family owned funeral homes in North County. Steve Harmon was the son of the former Police Chief and Mayor Clarence Harmon. He'd worked a long time in the PD and as a municipal prosecutor.

I'm not sure who's opposing Gardner this time around.
