NCAA would do with at-large qualifiers for the SEC while they are starting out. If they give the some sort of expansion minimum rule for the first few years then I could see MU coming over right away. Really I think the main focus would be how much impact it would have on MU getting guys to nationals.
My guess the NCAA would put a minimum to help boost the new conference and grow the sport and MU would come over right away to bring a top tier team to anchor.
