Considering the fact that the very meaning of Islam is submission to God, to rise above your course shortcomings as a human to rise above them - I find value in that, yes. Not only that certainly. At the point of organizational growth where Islam is today - the Christians were torturing people in the Spanish Inquisition to teach people about Christian love. Christianity was about 1400 yr old tradition then give or take as Islam is some 1400 yrs today. As OMG - TERRORISM is an political tool utilized by fundamental extremism carried out by a narrow sliver of that tradition, I am not concerned.
