Jontay started 9 games total backing up Puryear, we lost Blake Harris to transfer for the same reasons indicated, and CJ Roberts also transferred due to being redshirted for non-medical reasons. Then we re-inserted MPj into the lineup when he returned from injury and disrupted everyone's roles, essentially becoming a different team in the postseason to disastrous results.

He did not do fine that season either with rotations and roles and minutes allocation.
