I see having red skin as a negative.

Here is my fail safe test to determine if a statement is racist or not. Simply change the race used to another group and ask if the term would be considered racist. If so then the original statement was as well.

Would it be acceptable to call AAs blackskins, Hispanics brownskins or Asians yellowskins? The answer is obviously no so Redskin is equally offensive.
