too many layers of bureaucracy and non-sports influence in college to make it work. every school will have a dean of some stupid liberal arts program who complains loudly about how State U is considering sports while children are literally dying in the classrooms. and all the other retarded deans will nod in agreement with a disingenuous "harumph" and propose that instead the university's dollars should go toward a new faculty lounge and higher pay for the deans of stupid liberal arts programs.
