Data shows that old people die more than young people. Therefore, I am proposing some counteractive measures to limit the amount of old people dying and to extend their lives to the maximum amount of life possible.
First, we are going to increase taxes on the working young (quite possibly up to 80% of their annual income). That money is going to be used to build state of the art buildings for old people to receive on-demand medical care from the team of world class doctors paid for by all that tax money. There will be 1 ICU bed per old person available in this country, and 1 dedicated long term care nurse that will be on call for each old person. There will be no waits for surgeries, as we will pay enough surgeons (maybe even lure some away from other countries) with lucrative salaries so that surgeons are available. We are also going to nationalize the pharma and medical devices industry and pour hundreds of billions (maybe trillions) into life saving or extending research and development. Over time, we are certain that we can extend the lives of old people by ensuring that they get the exact care they need at the exact second that they need it.
And if you disagree with my proposal, then you must think "**** old people" and you're a terrible person.
