There are only like 20 wrestling programs remaining now...

and at least 3 of those programs will ALWAYS be better than us.

Normally, there is something to gain by being a "consistent 5-7 ranked team". For example, winning SEC titles, or possibly even a team NCAA natty. But there is no such possibility in this case since we compete in a mid-major conference, and the BigTen will always have two or three teams that are better than us at the national level.

In other words, our ceiling is winning MAC titles that absolutely no one cares about.

So take that money, and put it into a sport that actually matters. Then, maybe, one of those programs will have a better chance of becoming a consistent #5-#7 team.
