The biggest benefit for home protection is the 30-round capacity.
The biggest drawback for home protection is if you shoot someone, the small, 55 grain round, traveling at 3000 fps, will likely go through that person, out of the house, across the street, into a nearby house, and kill someone standing behind the refrigerator.
