I agree with it.
Ummm asked what changed and I will tell you the definitive answer:
What changed is we have a corrupt incompetent, uncaring unfeeling caricature of a man in the White House. Instead of providing leadership he sang and danced and called it a hoax. He let things get way out of hand and punted leadership to the States. And if what they chose the wrong path and it hurt Trump in the process well thats too phucking bad isn't it ?
Not to mention in order to provide cover for hundreds of billions of dollars for the military, he has cut every decent thing the government does...by millions
(including and especially our early warning system for pandemics) further reinforcing his malfeasant incompetence- which BTW was on full display during the
Puerto Rican hurricaine.
As for masks- even your own article does not say they do no good, as you claimed. It said they do little good. Fair enough but I would say a little is better than nothing. Had Trump encouraged their use early on, and even worn one in public, well maybe a few thousand lives
could have been saved, who knows? More importantly Trump didn't give a shiite.
I oppossed mandatory masks for two reasons, one being my own
1) as we have seen making it mandatory only makes tghe pig headed antiscience Trump cultists and the like dig in to not wearing them. Had Trump early on encouraged their use but not mandatory for anyone, no stigmitism if they did (at work etc). We would , just my guess, had a greater percentage of the population wearing them for a much longer period of time. This is knowledge of human behavior.
2) It is my opinion, based on fact, that eventually
essentially EVERY person in the US is going to be exposed, no matter how much we fight it or try to prevent it. Thats why I didn't wear one till they became mandatory. Like every normal person I don't care to be told what to do, unlike most normal people I can reason past that.
