Go back and read what I said. I said the post season ban punishment was no punishment at all in a season where there was no post season for any teams. That’s all.

I wasn’t addressing the other punishments associated with the NCAA violations. In fact I didn’t mention them at all.

Yes, there were some other negative repercussions related to the other punishments other than the post season ban. But now that you mention that, I don’t think they were severe at all, and have had no significant effect on the team moving forward.

Let’s see some facts here, or even alleged facts. What recruits did we miss out on because of the impending post season ban and other sanctions? Did a single player who signed an LOI fail to show up? Did anyone rescind their verbal commitment due to the sanctions?

Our recruiting and current players, and those coming in for the fall, look great to me.

How exactly were we hurt by any of the sanctions?
