“Frank is a friend and an outstanding leader of young men,” Missouri head basketball coach Cuonzo Martin said. “His character and family values make him the ideal leader for this new committee. We have to come together, learn from each other and do everything we can as coaches to create change in our communities, and Frank will help us do that.”
The committee is working through their inside out approach, looking to make an impact starting in their locker room, then on campus and then also in their community. Joining Frank Martin, Amaker, Dixon and Cuonzo Martin leading the charge is Stetson head coach Gary Stewart, NABC executive director Jim Haney and Brett Fuller, team chaplain of the Washington Redskins.
There are 35 coaches who want to be a part of the committee, and those coaches have been split into three groups. The first group met on Monday.
