diversify our news and information sources and the 1st video warns of how it's not as diverse as we might think. Of course, it also makes the case that it isn't just Facebook or Google, but many others, such as HuffPo, etc. filter searches differently for different people.

The 2nd talk is also interesting and he makes some good points, but I'm still skeptical of going completely news free. Viewing the Tigerboard politics board would be one place I'm sure he would recommend avoiding like the plague, so I would guess you probably feel the same way.
