In the SEC East, Georgia and Florida are the Tier 1 programs; Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky and Mizzzou are the Tier 2 programs and Vandy is Tier 3.
The information required to determine how each program would be financially impacted by not playing the 2020 season is not readily available. Needless to say, all would feel the loss of revenue. I suspect the Tier 1 and a couple of the Tier 2 programs could stand the impact better than Mizzou simply because they have more fan support than Mizzou, i.e. Georgia and Florida football are more important in the cultures of those two states than Tiger football is in Missouri's culture.
I would suggest the downside for Mizzou if the season is not played is the momentum developed by Drinkwitz' recruiting success for his 2021 class will ebb away. Given the non-conference schedule, he has an excellent chance of going at least 6-6. That or a better record would result in the current momentum continuing. If the season isn't played, a lot of folks will find other things to do, follow and support than Tiger football. That won't happen at Georgia or Florida or probably Tennessee or South Carolina.
