I truly believe, if you watched the same game I did, that if there was, indeed, some giant conspiracy set up by the Big 12 to enable us to win, one would have to include Michael Dixon, Marcus Denmon and Phil Pressey as parties to the plot for their obligingly jacking up and missing numerous NBA-range three point shots only five or six seconds into the shot clock after your lads had built the 19 point second half lead, aiding our comeback in that contest immeasurably.
I truly believe that even if you gave me another eight years on top of the previous eight to try and conjure a rationale for why, if the Big 12 went to all these drastic measures to not 'allow' your team the honor of winning the league's regular season championship as a punitive action for it's being "on their way to the SEC", they would then go ahead and 'allow' it to win the Post-Season Tournament championship right after that, while it was "on their way to the SEC", I absolutely, positively could not.
I truly believe your fanbase's talent for creating elaborately fanciful excuses for losing is unsurpassed in the history of Sport -- college sports, professional sports, international sports or Olympic sports -- on planet Earth.
