spent 50 years making racists statements, working toward racist legislation, and running unopposed. He was then selected for VP due to being a "dumb white dude" & his dependability for never overshadowing the insecure Obama. The president would always appear competent as long as ole Joe was around. So he really hasn't won over anyone.
