But Mizzou recruited him because of the relationship Cuonzo has with his AAU program. Mizzou has also been out and not actively recruiting him for several months.

There shouldn’t really be any question about why they are targeting the players that they are in this class. Look at the list of players that we know that they are actively recruiting in this class. They fill positions that Mizzou is losing a player and are from areas where the coaching staff has relationships.
Guards from KC and Michigan
Forwards mostly from upper Midwest
