being basically true. It seems to me that blacks in general would at least appreciate that last 50 years, even if some changes are still needed, but the clear impression given, with the recent protests, is that it is not even remotely a consideration now.
How many blacks have contemplated lately what impact that might have on your typical white (who is NOT racist or even prejudiced)? It seems that attitude would serve to detract from the credibility of black opinion. That is not something blacks need.
Yes, no doubt cops have always dealt with blacks a bit differently, for reasons rational or not, but that last stronghold of blatant bigotry against blacks appears finally to be ready for change. And finally the malfeasant cop, in a few places, is starting to be held responsible for his actions - which has never happened before. THAT is where you should be putting your energies instead of burning down innocent businesses - including some owned by blacks. And last, you'd do better listening to whites, who do have your interests at heart, instead of useless losers like Sharpton, Jackson and several politicians.
