Had he remained healthy he might have done that in 3 years and probably would have gone in the draft after his junior year. He was on draft list after his freshmen year. I never forget his high school coach saying he was probably near as big a local recruit as Stipanovich was and people mocked him. After his freshmen year showing they weren't thinking that was so out of bounds. After that terrible knee injury he remade his game to more close to the basket. Although he played that way as a freshmen Kelly had good perimeter skills that he would have shown more his sophomore year when he would have been more of a wing.
