against putting people in cages (aka arresting anyone or putting anyone in jail)
Part of the backstory here was a thread about Youtube taking down a police video asking for help in identifying suspects who had sexually assaulted a woman who had gone out into an alley for a smoke. She ran in and informed her boyfriend who was the D.J. at the bar that evening and when he came out with her the group of guys started beating him up, knocking him down onto the cobblestones and knocked her to the pavement as well, almost slamming her head into the curb in the process.
Both were hospitalized after the beating which was caught on security cameras.
pickle cheered Youtube's move and warning to the police that they would close their Youtube account if they ever used it to ask for help in identifying perpetrators of crimes.
He went on and on about how cruel it is to "put people in cages" and that this is just retribution for any alleged crimes and that is unacceptable.
He asserted that the victims had a right to defend themselves, but after that they had no right to any sort of restribution... eg. punishing people for their crimes.
They could, of course, seek monetary damages for hospital bills etc. Of course, that would be very unlikely in a pickletopia where there is no ruler, and no government that anyone is subject to unless they voluntarily submit to said government.
