the noose allegation. It took 15 FBI Agents investigating to determine that the 'noose' was actually a loop on the end of the garage door pulldown rope. In fact there was an identical looped pulldown rope on the door of every garage at Talladega Speedway, not just at Wallace's garage. Wallace has been a vocal supporter of BLM and hectored Nascar officials to ban display of the Confederate battle flag at race events. Wallace came out immediately to condemn the noose and used the story to advance his political views. Here is a video of him being interviewed for The View tv show:
