but it's not OK for the government to mandate. I would hope, regardless of how much mask shaming you do, you can understand the difference between personal choice and government mandate.

What's the long game here? How long do we have to wear them? What's the criteria for 'public'?

There's no good answers for these because government, NO level of government should be dictating this behavior. If private business CHOOSE to implement them (absent threats from government), more power to them. If you wish to wear a mask everywhere, more power to you.

My freedom to choose should not be taken away.
