By way of update, she sent me what was clearly a mass email template she had gotten with the message that dialog was critical at this time and only by having tough discussions about race could we finally achieve racial justice. I responded with agreement asking her to let me know a time when we can sit down and actually talk about solutions that are substantial and not merely symbolic. I even offered to provide the drinks because I am a giver and a lover of social justice.

5 days later - still crickets.
