Chesapeake has a high cost of supply; a characteristic of a porfolio too focused on shale compared to conventional assets. They have to keep drilling to access PUD with shale and nobody can due that profitably when the price is $35/barrel. Conventional reservoirs can still produce at relatively low operating costs.
